Developed in collaboration with Grounded Services, LLC., the Clean Energy Electrical Training Program is a structured, dual-track workforce initiative designed to strengthen Massachusetts’ clean energy electrical workforce.

The program supports two training pathways: 

1. New entrant electrical trainees, including individuals with prior electrical experience who have not yet completed the required 600 classroom hours for licensure.

2. Incumbent workers, including licensed journeyman electricians seeking specialized clean energy skills.

Led by Grounded Services’ certified master electricians, the curriculum delivers NEC-compliant instruction in electrical theory, advanced solar photovoltaics (PV), electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, energy storage systems, and smart-grid integration. The program includes a comprehensive classroom training track for electrical trainees and a focused advanced training series for licensed electricians.

Classroom instruction is integrated with supervised field-based training, enabling participants to build required work hours through employer partnerships across Massachusetts.
